The niflheimer

Niflheimer, that grotesque abomination floundering in the fetid waters of our degenerated consumerist society, stands as a monstrosity, a ghastly mockery of what it means to be human. This residue from Niflheim, a creature wallowing in the mire of greed, has elevated money and material possessions to the status of deities, thereby showcasing a twisted and revolting devotion to the idolatry of materialism.

This willing slave of the consumerist society is a compulsive workaholic, a pitiable lab rat perpetually running in the wheel of material achievement, blind to any other form of personal or spiritual realization. He is blinded by avarice, a passion that finds its justification in belittling anything unrelated to money as « childish. » He proclaims himself a devotee of the leisure society, yet his notion of leisure is work, his notion of pleasure is profit. What a lamentable jest!

He is a man of industry, a being who flees from the light of truth and authenticity to lose himself in the fogs of materialist illusion. He is a nocturnal creature, a voluntary slave who labors incessantly, never pausing to gaze at the stars or to ponder the purpose of his own existence. What a wretched life!

He is a man who has lost the sense of beauty, art, and poetry. A man who has lost the sense of love, friendship, and compassion. A man who has lost the sense of self and his Divine origin, a man who has forsaken his soul. What a deplorable loss!

He lives in fear – fear of losing what he has acquired, fear of not having enough, fear of not being enough. He exists in perpetual dissatisfaction, forever in pursuit of more, never content with what he possesses, having transformed into a machine – a machine to produce, consume, and hoard. What a miserable existence!

He has become a caricature of himself, a man who has discarded his humanity. A man from Niflheim, the world of mists, where creatures who toil with metals reside – being greedy, industrious, and shunning the light for it would challenge their alienation. He has turned into a creature of Niflheim, a creature who has surrendered his soul to the fogs of greed and materialistic obsession. What a repellent metamorphosis!

And yet, ensconced in his bourgeois comforts, despite his privileged position, he chooses to remain passive in the face of his people’s colonization. He prioritizes his materialistic comfort over loyalty to the Gods, over defending his people. He is a traitor, an outcast, a man who has betrayed not only his people but also his very essence. What an abhorrent betrayal!

This specimen stands as a living testament to the ravages of materialism. He serves as a warning, a reminder of what befalls when we let our unchecked desires and ambitions dominate our lives. He is a distorted mirror in which we all must gaze, the living evidence that the curse of gold exists not outside of us, but within our walls, our nations, leading our people. He is the Niflheimer, the repugnant, the putrid, the impious. And this is a lesson we must never forget, a reminder we must always bear in mind.
