Vidar and Vali: Aesir of the Spiritual Vanguard and the Warrior Vanguard
In the Poetic Edda, Vidar and Vali embody the two essential aspects of the renewal of civilization, as they are first mentioned by the Volva when she lists the gods who survive Ragnarök.
Each represents a form of vanguard that shapes both the spirit and the organization of the warriors of a new community whose land has been conquered by the Skreals and the Muspelheimers.

Vidar « The one who reigns afar, » son of Wotan the « frenzied » and the giantess Grid, is the god of silence and vengeance. During Ragnarök, Vidar avenges his father’s death by killing his murderer.
Unlike his brother Vali, whose vengeance is direct and immediate, Vidar’s vengeance goes beyond the faide (vendetta) to embody a broader and deeper spiritual project:
the strengthening of the Ramparts of our own personal Asgard, that is, our Spirit (both individually and communally).
This reconstruction is done through:
— The study of the Edda, this sacred collection that guides and enlightens our thoughts and actions.
— The Hud, a spiritual exercise that involves withdrawing from the world to meditate and strengthen one’s spirit.
— The punctual and temporal connection with the sacred through participation in the community Times celebrations, which begin with a Vezla (sacred feast).
These practices are not just simple traditions but rituals, powerful acts of resistance against the empire of lies that dominate our people.
Vidar, through these rituals, prepares our people to survive the spiritual Ragnarök raging today and to bring about the arrival of Vali, direct and immediate vengeance.

Vidar’s shoe, crafted from discarded leather pieces, represents the reconstitution of a fragmented spiritual doctrine, almost forgotten yet still present. This action is necessary to organize and mobilize the noble and active forces of the people towards a common, unifying goal: the 14 words.
Each piece of leather symbolizes a fragment of spiritual wisdom, a mystery (rune), a teaching, or a sacred principle.
Taken individually, these fragments may seem insignificant, but together, they form an immense force.

Vidar, by assembling these disparate pieces, embodies the role of the guardian and restorer, thus creating a spiritual vanguard…
The spiritual whites, those who secretly gather at the times’ celebrations and individually study the Edda, who collectively exchange Words of Edda, participate in the reconstruction of this sacred shoe.
It is this shoe that will crush Fenrir and restore the Divine order in the cosmos because it is what allows our people to move forward, to no longer rot in place, consumed by enemy forces.
